The Bottaccio Group, established 40 years ago by Elio D’Anna, a renowned international economist, entrepreneur, and best-selling author, has evolved into a multifaceted enterprise renowned for its commitment to excellence in a wide variety of verticals, from hospitality, to real estate, to education and art. As Founder & President of numerous successful ventures, including the esteemed European School of Economics with campuses in London, New York, Milan, Rome, Florence, and Madrid, D’Anna has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership.

Under D’Anna's guidance, the group first ventured into the hospitality industry 1983 by acquiring an 18th-century mill in Tuscany, converting it into an elegant 5-star Relais & Chateaux hotel and internationally acclaimed restaurant. Recognized with top industry accolades, including ‘5 Red Forks and Spoons’ and a coveted ‘Michelin Star’, Bottaccio's reputation for impeccable craftsmanship and passion flourished.

Expanding its horizons, Bottaccio entered the international events industry, acquiring an 18th-century Grade 1 listed palace in Belgravia, London, and establishing event offices in New York, Madrid, and Istanbul. Over the next two decades, Bottaccio's growth trajectory soared, solidifying its position as one of the world's premier event companies.

 

Since the 1980s, the D’Anna family's portfolio has encompassed some of the most important and prestigious listed palaces in Italy; such as the 17th Century Napoleon’s Villa Del Ferlaro in Parma, the Palazzo Vivante Largo Papa Giovanni, XXIIII° in Trieste, the Palazzo Valmarana Braga in Vicenza and many more historical residences in Bari, Bologna, Catania, Genova, Lucca, Milano, Napoli, Roma, Torino and Verbania – together with having the honor of being the founding partner of the historical theatre Carlo Felice in Genoa, having funded its full refurbishment in the early 90s.

On an the global scale, the group has effectively managed spaces and organized events at renowned locations such as the iconic Empire State Building and Cipriani Wall Street in New York, the prestigious 8-9 Grosvenor Place, the Royal Exchange, 16th Century Great Barts Hall, and 16th Century Dutch Hall in London, the Reina Sofia National Museum, and the Santoña Palace in Madrid, alongside boutique venues in Istanbul and Paris.

In the 2010s, Stefan Edberg, the celebrated sportsman, joined the group, bringing his legacy of success. Following his illustrious tennis career, that includes nine Grand Slam titles, six in singles and three in doubles. The long list of achievements includes 2 wins at the Australian Open, 2 at the French Open, 2 victories at Wimbledon, and 2 wins at the US Open. Edberg embraced a new chapter, becoming the largest shareholder in Case Asset Management, a premier wealth and fund management firm founded in Stockholm in 2004.

Case, an independent asset manager, provides a full range of active investment products tailored to high net worth individuals, sports stars, and entrepreneurs. With a boutique ethos and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, Case continues to thrive as a trusted steward of wealth, with now over £500,000,000 under management. Edberg Fastigheter, established in parallele in the early 2000’s, has emerged as one of the Nordics' largest private real estate companies, managing over 250,000 sq ft of office, retail, and residential space in Sweden.
